The Sand and cement

Two years in the making, we've finally premiered a workshop production of 'The Sand and Cement', written and directed by myself, and performed outside amidst Todi, Italy's historic Todi Columns.

I wrote these words in 2014 following the deaths of Michael Brown and Eric Garner, and the dismissal of charges against the officers who shot and killed 7 year old Aiyana Jones. I've never shared them, until now. It pains me to think that you'd never know they were not written today.
