Directed by Jared McNeill, with music arranged, composed, and conducted by Claudio Scarabottini, the Bisse Social (Live) Show was at once a memorial event for Gaia Ferretti, a former member of the Bisse Choir, as well as signifying a meeting between artists from different parts of the world (Europe, Asia, the Middle East, USA, Africa) who shared the stage of the Menotti Theater in Spoleto with over eighty chorus elements and Bisse orchestra.
On stage were compositions, words, and the dreams of these young artists, with the desire to know their deep soul and break down the distances that separate men.
Through the technology of telepresence, this "jam" joined artists even thousands of miles away, who played from New York and Seoul alongside musicians on stage!
Artists included John Kruth, Bassey Ebong, Eliza Shaddad, Anissa Gouizi, and the group From Paris With Love.
Artists connected via telepresence from North Central Texas College, as well as Seoul University of the Arts.
Special Light Sculpture was provided by the visual artist Arthur Duff.
Telepresence connection was provided by CultureHub Europe, while the entire concert was made in collaboration between La Mama Spoleto, as well as the Bisse Association.
